If you have used Twitter Counter in the past to put a widget on your website/blog to show how many Twitter followers you have, well now you can do more with this new product free to use called Twitter Remote. It’s in beta, but all you do is go to Twitter Counter’s website, which I provided above and look on the right hand side of the page and you will see Twitter Remote. You will just need to click “give it a try.” (Scroll down a little to see it) Then you just need to copy and paste the html code into your blog and you are done. Now those who visit your blog can post their twitter profile on it and you can have another way to find people to follow on Twitter.
Also, with this little widget you can post “tweets” from it, which is handy. Finally from your widget click on the other users you see listed and visit there blog and you can post your profile on their widget. I think this is a great way to communicate and increase traffic for your Twitter profile and blog!
Secondly, there may be times when you are on Twitter and you want to get in touch with a certain person, but you don’t know when they are on. How do you know when to “tweet” them? Well, you’re in luck because there’s this application on the web called Tweet O’clock.
If you “tweet” certain people on Twitter a lot, but are looking for the right time to get in touch with them and you notice there may be times where you both aren’t able to get back to each other quick enough…use Tweet O’clock. It will let you know at what time during the day they use Twitter the most. Now you and your friends can communicate times to each other that work best!
At this point in time you may be asking yourself, “Frank, why do you keep giving us all these Twitter tools?” The answer is simple. Social media and social networking is dominating the internet and how we communicate today. Since many people are using these social networks, I figure what better way than to help all users with tools that will make your interacting with people easier. Individuals tend to love meeting new people, and what better way than to make it a simple process for them!
