Are you tweeting and never getting anyone to re-tweet you? Well now there’s a way to have a better chance of someone re-tweeting something you post. It’s not a guarantee that they will do so, but this site will give you more of any opportunity to have other users re-post what you write. Head over to Please RT Me and simply submit a link you wish to have re-tweeted into the box and it will take you to your Twitter account to enter your username and password. When anyone clicks the link in your tweet, they will be brought to their Twitter homepage with the post already there and they just have to hit the update button. It’s as simple as that. Thanks to The Next Web for posting this article because now people will have the opportunity for more readers to see their posts.
Personally, I have never been one of those users desperate for a re-tweet. Although, I do see many other people that want re-tweets it like crazy. It’s become an obsession of sorts, yet it’s one of the biggest things going around the internet because it’s getting users recognized. That’s what everyone wants for themselves at the end of the day. You can almost view re-tweeting as self promotion. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, but I have noticed that re-tweets on Twitter primarily are done for those who have a lot of followers or with some claim to fame.
I think you can still take advantage of a service like this. Who knows, for you it may be the next big thing! Different strategies and techniques work for different people. I am all in favor of getting re-tweeted, but it’s something I wish people didn’t beg for. Participate in other discussions on Twitter, continue to be active, and others will pay more attention to what you have to say. It’s like any relationship, you have to reciprocate!
