I find it quite amusing that not only have I promoted this blog post on Twitter, but I’m talking about one of my own services within my own blog. Shameless self promoting at its best, but is there really any harm in it when Loic LeMeur, the Founder of Seesmic does it all the time?
Anyway, I digress. I’m here to let you know about my tech consulting site FrankAngelone.com. Granted I have had the consulting tab here on Social Tech Zone leading to my consulting site, but I’ve never actually wrote a blog post about it, letting you all know what I offer. Now I know many who read this blog are techies and aren’t going to be interested in my services and I don’t blame you. You all know how to do tech work to begin with. However, I wanted to share this new site with you so you can pass it along to family members and friends who made need tech help at a very reasonable price. Yes, I know…I charge – what a shocker! Before you get all crazy about this, I’d suggest checking out the services tab on the site.
Currently I am only doing remote desktop work until I see the demand for other services on the rise (i.e. “in house consulting”). However, for the service I charge $60 an hour with a $30 dollar down payment. The other $30 is paid at the end when you feel completely satisfied that I resolved the issue. As much as I love fixing computers, I’m also not looking to take advantage of people which is why I offer multiple ways for them to save money. All first time clients receive 10% the service and if you sign up for my newsletter (you get a free copy of my blueprint to improve your computer performance), you can save another 15% there!
I understand there may not be some readers out there that don’t like that I’m pitching them, but we all have to make a living in this lifetime. However, I don’t do these promo type posts often, so once in a blue moon, its fine. Let’s be honest too, I’m not one of these big time internet celebrities trying to sell you something every 5 seconds, even though I wish I could, but I can’t do it successfully like they can so I choose my place and time. Hopefully, I made it clear that this post was to promote my new site. I always try to be as transparent as I can. I’m not hear to hide anything. The readers of this site know I always try to bring content that is informative and helpful to others. I truly wouldn’t post this here if I didn’t feel like it could be of some use to people.
I’d really appreciate feedback on the site and what you think of it. Even if you don’t need my services, I’d like to know what I can improve and also what I can do better here on Social Tech Zone. Finally, do you think my prices and discounts are fair? Thanks to all of you who read my blog and take an interest in the things I do. I really appreciate it. By the way, before you decide to use my services, you can set up a free webinar time with me to discuss your issue and if you feel I’m the man for the job, then we can proceed forward. Its your way to confirm your money is being put to good use.
