I really love spoof’s on computer products…it truly cracks me up.  The big thing for me is – how well done is the spoof?  Is it mediocre?  If that’s the case I’ll be more inclined to get really annoyed at it.  I know you may be thinking that it’s a little extreme to be getting mad over a spoof.  Although, I am extremely passionate about computer products, so if they are going to make fun of it, it better be good.

This video that I came across on YouTube is called the Mactini.  It’s funny and entertaining in every sense of the word.  Usually I dislike spoofs that poke fun at Apple, since that’s one of my favorite companies.  However, with this one in particular I was able to appreciate the joke.  Since Apple has a product called the Mac Mini and the joke was called the Mactini– it was referencing that Apple is continually making smaller products.  This was an extreme example, but since it was a huge exaggeration, I liked it!  Don’t get any ideas Apple!

I think the guy playing the role of the seller helped make this commercial.  He made it interesting and I believe if you are making fun of technology and the levels it reaches, then you need someone who can make it seem like a serious.

I’m always on the lookout for interesting and funny spoofs like this one that relate to technology.  Are there any others that you know of?  What do you think of this one?  If you have any that I can take a look at, leave a comment below!

Here’s another spoof of an Apple product that I think is just as good:
