Recently I bought a Flip Mino HD (affiliate link) video recorder. I felt it was about time to join the rest of the crowd and see what was so great about this new technology. Not to mention, I wanted to start doing some video recordings to post to the internet. So, I got up off my ass and went to Target and picked one up and my first reaction was to the packaging. I know many of you are going to wonder, “what could be so great about the packaging?” Well, for one, it shows a lot about how much the company cares about their product just by the effort put into the casing. A package can say a lot, just like a picture tells a thousand words.
Once I opened the package and used the Flip Mino HD (affiliate link) to put through a test run, let’s just say I was extremely impressed. The slick design isn’t the only thing that caught my attention. What I felt was the most important aspect of the device was its usability. By far, it’s the easiest piece of technology I have ever used. I have heard a lot of reviews and comments from other people saying it’s extremely simple to use. At first, I didn’t believe that it would be as easy to use as it is. Regardless of the model you get, I really think the price is irrelevant. For the quality of video and simplicity in using the device, it’s well worth the investment.
What else is good about the device? Everything! To record, just push the record button, that’s it! What more could you ask for? The volume and navigation buttons are really easy to use as well. It’s right there at your fingertips, you really can’t go wrong. I’m not trying to sound like a salesman, but it’s not everyday that I get to use a new piece of technology that I feel is worth every penny. Granted, any tech gadgets I review here on my blog are products I believe in and that I think are well worth your investment. However, there are plenty of poorly made products out there and those usually don’t end up in my possession. I feel I am a pretty good judge of great tech products out there. Although, if I ever did buy a gadget that didn’t live up to it’s potential I would still review it and give my honest opinion.
Now I want to hear from you whether you own the Flip Mino HD (affiliate link) or another model. Do you like it? What do you use it for? Do you have any complaints about the product? With how good the product is to use, I believe it only has the ability to improve. I don’t think there’s anything bad about it right now, but who knows what the company has up their sleeves.
