Yes, it’s finally happened. I have purchased an 8GB iPod Touch 2nd Generation. I guess you can say I have conformed to the rest of the world as far as Apple consumers go. I mean, if you think about it, the iPod Touch is bringing MP3 players to a completely new level! No other electronics company has reached the degree of innovation like Apple has. Microsoft for sure can’t match this product whatsoever because in my eyes, they don’t have the creative mindset. So, Bill Gates, eat your heart out!
I have always taken a great interest in Apple’s products even though they are quite expensive. Although, what I have noticed is the buying trends of consumers aren’t concerned with the high prices. It’s all about the name of the brand and the quality that goes along with it. I do have to commend Apple for their continued success with their products because I for one am very happy with the iPod Touch I purchased. I have been playing around with all the various functions and I am amazed how much it does and how similar it is to the iPhone. I actually believe its better off to buy an iPod Touch over an iPhone. Why you may ask? Well, you get to use the internet for free when connected to a Wi-Fi network. Doing things like email, instant messaging, and even texting capabilities! It does almost everything an iPhone does except make calls. So, this is our substitute for those of us that don’t have AT&T. Although, when using an iPhone you have to pay to use all those services because it’s supplied through the phone company.
Going back to the iPod Touch, I have downloaded a number of the free apps and their functionality is superb! Having the app store built into the iPod is great because I don’t have to go onto my computer to access anything. There are so many apps for this product that it would take forever to go through them all, but as the commercial states, “there’s an app for just about everything.” As you probably have figured I am very pleased with my purchase. Technology doesn’t get any better than this!
If I had to describe the iPod Touch in just one word, it would be dominant. Why choose that word? Simple…it demolishes any competition that may pose the slightest threat. Now that’s efficiency and a great product! Go out and by an iPod Touch if you don’t have one…you won’t be disappointed in the least!
