Whether you believe it or not, we are being social everyday. Whether it’s on the internet or in person. Today we are more social than ever, but do people really understand the meaning of being social? Do they realize how they can be perceived by others by not interacting properly? I want to give you my 10 things that I feel being social requires to create a positive image for yourself online and offline.

Do you use social bookmarking often? I for one am not a fan of it. It doesn’t provide me with anything more that a social network can’t give me. Sites like Digg are more focused on “what’s hot” instead of giving everyone an equal chance to be noticed. Should social bookmarking take a lesson from social networks?
