It can be hard to decide whether or not you want to be a member of a new social network. There’s a lot of deciding factors that go into it. I recently tried this with a gradually growing social network in FriendFeed.

Have you ever stopped and wondered if Facebook was in panic mode? Granted they are a great social network, but it seems that ever since they started trying to compete with Twitter, they have always been trying to gain an edge on them. I think both companies are here to stay, but I believe Twitter has a strong advantage over Facebook when comparing the two. Facebook buying FriendFeed has me wonder…what are they trying to prove?

I have been noticing a lot of hype around FriendFeed lately. Honestly it has me confused. This social network doesn’t receive any media attention, yet it gets plenty around the blogosphere. New features are always being added, but I don’t see any value it provides. Seems like a combination of two social networking sites I think we all know well!
