Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, YouTube; the power of social media outlets seems to grow daily. Businesses that fail to take advantage of the marketing opportunities offered by social media sites are ignoring a gold mine of potential buyers. The Internet marketplace is a vast resource.     Thanks for sharing. I use HootSuite every now and then and I absolutely love it. What i love best is that I can schedule tweets on my iPhone or iPad with the HootSuite App!

    It’s pretty amazing what is possible with the resources we have available.

    I had no clue of all the other services however, thanks for sharing. I’ll have to go check them out!

    Excellent post Frank. I am fan of Hootsuite application.This cool app will be a good twitter manager for us. We can schedule future tweets. Also there is no need to download the software because it works as a cute firefox addon.

    I’ve never personally been a fan of the Hootsuite application. I know many people use it and like it, but I feel there’s too much going on with it. I’ve always felt the same about Seesmic. Personally, I like applications that are simple and easy to navigate around. That’s what sells me on an application. However, I cannot discredit Hootsuite as they have really grabbed a large user base to their application.

    Hootsuite really seems to be a hit among many users. I for one have always found it to be too “noisy.” I don’t like when there’s a lot going on in an application. Sticking to the basics of what Twitter clients were designed for is the best way to go. The fact that they integrate so many services now bothers me a little, but I understand why they do it. Users like to have an “all-in-one” experience since it saves them time. I currently use Tweetie For Mac at this time, but who knows what I could be using a few years down the line.

    I’ve never actually used Hootsuite myself, but James who wrote this guest post definitely finds it to be a useful tool. Me personally, I don’t really care for the interface.
