Andrew Warner is the Founder of Mixergy.com.  It’s a site designed for aspiring entrepreneurs who are looking to create businesses for themselves.  Andrew brings on many well known and accomplished entrepreneurs to teach people the tools of the trade to become a success in the business world.

Andrew was kind enough to allow me to interview him about what he does for a living and most important, how he has used social networking sites to get people willing to be interviewed.  I have received the question before in regards to how I get people to be interviewed for my site in the past.  So I thought it would be worthwhile to see if Andrew could share his wisdom with everyone on how he does it.

It’s important to understand that even though social media sites can be helpful, you aren’t going to get everyone you want to do an interview with to say yes.  It takes time for some depending on how busy they are, how credible you are, and how you present yourself.  Andrew does mention that it’s about presentation.  You need to have a good delivery pitch to people you are interested in interviewing. When using social networks, it’s important to take note that you can always hit up these people again.  They’re easily accessible, so if they say they can’t one time, doesn’t mean they will another time.

Andrew mentions he would like to hear your feedback – if you listened to the entire interview.  I would like to hear your feedback as well!  He’s done great for himself and is great at interviewing people.  He actually interviewed me a little in the show as well, which was a nice change of pace to mix things up.  I got to share some of my thoughts as well!  Did this interview help you all with ways of getting possible individuals to interview for your site?  Have you learned new possible tips for how social networks out there can help you get these people on your show?
