Facebook has got under my skin quite a number of times with changing their design layouts. I know it annoys many other people which is one of my main reasons for making this video. Secondly, Facebook has been under some serious heat lately from many of its users and many well know internet entrepreneurs are voicing their displeasure with the company and the platform.
I had to voice my thoughts on what Facebook has been doing. It won’t be long until more of these videos surface across the internet and Mark Zuckerberg finds himself in a deeper pile of trouble than he already is in. The last thing he wants is well known people in the industry voicing their dissatisfaction with the way things are handled on Facebook. Just to prove my point that I am not the only one annoyed with the way Facebook does things…watch these videos too:
These are thoughts by Loren Feldmen of 1938 media and are his opinions alone.
These are thoughts by Jason Calacanis of ThisWeekIn.com and are his opinions alone.
Finally, one of the most followed bloggers on the internet Robert Scoble was kicked off of Facebook. He goes into deeper detail if you click the link. I’ve always thought to upset someone with as much recognition and respect as Robert Scoble is a one way ticket to business failure. You never want to get on the bad side of those who carry a large following and trusted voice, especially on the Internet. Scoble getting kicked off was due to him doing his job, but he has had a lot of displeasure as well with the way things are being run at Facebook.
So what do you think of doing a weekly video here on the blog voicing my opinion? Is it a good change of pace. I feel it just adds more to the site. You get a little bit of everything from podcast interviews, to guest posts, to articles I post, and now weekly videos. I’d really appreciate the feedback as I try to make the experience here more engaging and provide different ways to help people understand the world of social networks and technology.
