Follow Friday has probably been the most recognized and popular trending topic on Twitter for a long time. However, I believe its time has run out. It’s no longer the number one topic on Twitter and I’m noticing people usually recommend one person when they do participate. Do you believe it’s seen it’s end?

Has someone ever told you that there’s a right or wrong way to use Twitter? If someone told me that I was using Twitter the wrong way, I would be annoyed. Why? Simple, who’s to tell me how to live my life whether online or not? I think it’s all an ego thing where people think they know more than others, but maybe I am wrong. It’s all about your preference and how you feel using Twitter best applies to you. So, do you think there’s a right or wrong way to use Twitter?

After taking notice of others restructuring who they follow on Twitter. I felt it was time I do the same thing. Following over 1,000 people is just too hard and you aren’t getting any meaningful conversations or friendships out of it. Hand picking who you follow is something I am glad I chose to do. Is it something you would do? Would you want to restructure your follow list?

Making money online is something people always want to do or make more of. Since Twitter is probably the fastest growing social network and the preferred one to do business on…why not make money off of it? There are mixed emotions on the topic of Sponsored Tweets, but I will give you both sides of the coin and then you can make an educated decision on whether or not you want to post tweets that advertisers will pay you for.

Have you ever stopped and wondered if Facebook was in panic mode? Granted they are a great social network, but it seems that ever since they started trying to compete with Twitter, they have always been trying to gain an edge on them. I think both companies are here to stay, but I believe Twitter has a strong advantage over Facebook when comparing the two. Facebook buying FriendFeed has me wonder…what are they trying to prove?
